Lend-A-Hand Tutoring at the CBA 

Lend-A-Hand Tutoring at the CBA provides free one-to-one tutoring to elementary school students. Our school partner is the Montessori School of Englewood, a public charter school.

Tutoring is on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. during the school year at the Chicago Bar Association (CBA). The school transports the students downtown to the CBA.

Our tutoring program has a focus on literacy, and each student receives an individualized reading plan to work on each week. Because many of our students have a learning difference, we strive to use instructional methods and materials that are appropriate for their learning needs.
