Lend-A-Hand Volunteer Tutor Qualifications

We seek committed volunteers – whether they are attorneys or not – to tutor students from the Englewood community and, as of 2021, Providence Englewood Charter School (PECS). Lend-A-Hand provides comprehensive training to its tutors, as well as on-site support and guidance from experienced program staff.

Our volunteers should be able to come to their weekly tutoring session, complete a 90-minute orientation, undergo a criminal background check, and be at least 18 years of age.
